In my free time I enjoy family time at our cottage on Harsens Island in the summer, or snow skiing in the winter. I am hopelessly addicted to being near water either on the boat or on the dock with friends and family…or frozen while skiing!
Still having a great time after 33 years in the advertising industry serving different roles from production to account management as I have progressed.
Enjoying my 38 years in the printing industry. I utilize my vast experiences and print knowledge as a vital part of providing excellent service.

Through high school and college, I worked at my parents print and bindery shop. I would write up jobs and file job tickets – clearly the most exciting parts of the graphics industry! I also completed a 2-year vocational CAD graphic training program, where I discovered my interest in creating cool graphics for people. As soon as I finished high school, I took some art classes at MCC, which made me wonder how I was going to make a living in the art world.
Although I learned a lot of the back-end aspects of the print industry at my parents’ bindery shop, I knew it wasn’t the career for me. I had a burning passion for animals, large or small, fur or feathers – all of them. Switching gears, I became a licensed veterinary technician for five years. In that time, the family business progressed beyond print to marketing, design and event displays, which is a perfect niche for me. Being an LVT was gratifying, but a girl has to pay rent!
